**Dinas Powys Lawn Bowls Club - Match Report**

Dinas Powys opened their PG1 campaign with a warm welcome to Aberdare Harlequins the Vale. The day unfolded with thrilling matches across the rinks.

Rink 1 witnessed an impressive display by Richard Bowens rink from Dinas, who dominated against Jordan Davies rink. Bowen secured an early lead of 17-2 after 10 ends, ultimately concluding the match with a commanding 25-8 victory.

On Rink 2, Dinas skipper Mike Prosser faced off against Jamie Lewis. Despite Aberdare's initial advantage of 15-8 after 10 ends, the Dinas Powys rink mounted a remarkable comeback, clinching a nail-biting 21-20 win.

The battle on Rink 3 between Dinas Skipper Mike Ackland and Aberdare's Ross Owen was intense. After 10 ends, the Dinas rink held a narrow lead of 8-5, eventually securing a solid 23-16 triumph.

However, Rink 4 proved to be a challenging contest for Dinas skipper Matthew Woodcock against Aberdare's Alfie Hughes. Aberdare asserted dominance with an 11-3 lead after 10 ends, ultimately finishing with a convincing 26-7 victory.
