Dinas entertained Pontycymmer today at St Andrews Road on a sunny afternoon. At 5 ends Dinas had taken a 21 shot lead, at 10 ends Pontycymmer had pulled this back to only 12 shots. But with the rink of Terry Bratcher, Tim Hurcom, Sleeves and Big picking up a 4 and a 3 and Steve Linney, Robin Charlton, The and The whip picking up a 3 and a 5, Dinas had extended their shot lead back from 8 to 16 in 3 ends across the rinks.

Dinas ran out the eventual winners 99-68. We wish Pontycymmer all the best for rest of the season. It was also great to see Pontycymmer moving forward with a lady club captain, all the best to nicola Rowlands and team.
