RTB Ebbw Vale Home

Tonight Dinas welcomed league favourites and reining Welsh champions RTB to St Andrews Road. With both teams missing a few players it was all to play for. The home team started the stronger with the rinks of Woodcock and Chapman leading the way. After 5 ends Dinas had run into a 14 shot lead but then the champions started to show their class and Dinas started to wobble. By the 10th end RTB had turned the table and led the home side by 2 shots but Dinas then started to fight back with the rink of Ian Patterson, Tim Hurcom, Alex Meddins, and Matt Woodcock picking up 13 shots in 5 ends and by 15 ends across the board Dinas had a lead of 11 again.

This time they were determined to hold on to it and came away with a great 12 points.
